FHLBank Announces 2016 Affordable Housing Program Projects September 26, 2016 FHLBank Topeka’s board of directors approved over $7 million in grants through the 2016 Affordable Housing Program (AHP). 
 
AHP grants were awarded to 21 applicants and are projected to improve or create 881 housing units. Nearly 57% of the projects focus on rental properties, and about 43% are homeowner projects.   
 

This year, FHLBank Topeka received 74 applications for AHP grants with requests for about $27.6 million to fund projects in the FHLBank four-state district (CO, KS, NE, OK) and Texas.
