Advances and MPF Guidelines for National Day of Mourning

U.S. markets will be closed on Wednesday, Dec. 5 to honor former President George H. W. Bush. As a result, FHLBank Topeka will limit advances to 90 days or less all day Wednesday.
MPF PROGRAM GUIDELINES
In observance of the National Day of Mourning for former U.S. President George H.W. Bush, and consistent with the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) recommendation, the MPF Program will not post pricing and will not accept Delivery Commitments on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018. However, the MPF Program will accept Loan Fundings and Delivery Commitment Extensions, and the MPF Service Center will be available to take calls and answer questions. Delivery Commitments set to expire on Wednesday,
December 5, 2018 will automatically pair-off as normal and will process against the last pricing schedules posted on Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2018.
December 5, 2018 - MPF XTRA PRODUCT SPECIFICS: Per Fannie Mae’s announcement, Funding Requests accepted on Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2018, will disburse as normal on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018. Funding Requests accepted on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018 will disburse as normal on Thursday, Dec. 6, 2018. As a reminder for MPF Xtra Delivery Commitments, please request funding two days prior to expiration.
December 5, 2018 - MPF DIRECT PRODUCT SPECIFICS: Per Redwood Trust’s announcement, pricing will be unavailable on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018, and Delivery Commitments will not be accepted. Loan Fundings and Delivery Commitment Extensions will be permitted.
Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018:
- Delivery Commitments WILL NOT be accepted
- Loan Fundings WILL be accepted throughout the day
- End of Day processes WILL be run at the normal time
- NACHA files WILL be created at the normal time
- The Data Mart, all other files, and reports WILL be created at the normal time
