First Westroads Bank plans to donate the #500forGood funds to Angels Among Us, a nonprofit organization that provides housing and essential items to families that are coming to Omaha for pediatric cancer treatments.  

Midwest Bank
Norfolk, Nebraska

For the past three years, Midwest Bank has partnered with the local grocery store and schools to make Thanksgiving meal packages for families in need. The Thanksgiving packages contain turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, corn, dinner rolls, butter and pumpkin pie. The $500 will help Midwest Bank provide 52 Thanksgiving meals needy families this holiday season.

Nebraska State Bank
Oshkosh, Nebraska

Nebraska State Bank plans to use the $500 to support the Garden County Sherriff’s office in purchasing a K-9 unit. The K-9 unit will help the sheriff’s office continue to keep the community safe and welcoming to people moving to the area.

Scribner Bank
Scribner, Nebraska
Scribner Bank will use the $500 as tuition assistance for a new afterschool program designed for families who may have experienced job loss due to the pandemic and are trying to get back to a steady job. The City of Scribner, the Scribner Snyder Community Schools and the YMCA have been working to start an after-school program at the local school. The intent is to provide a safe place for children of working parents to go when school gets out.

State Bank of Table Rock
Pawnee City, Nebraska
The State Bank of Table Rock will donate the funds to the local childcare facility to help cover the cost of mandated trainings the employees are required to receive each year.

State Nebraska Bank & Trust

Wayne, Nebraska
State Nebraska Bank & Trust will use $500 to purchase coats, snow pants, hats, gloves and boots at local businesses for the Wayne Coat Closet, located in the First Presbyterian Church in Wayne, Nebraska. The Wayne Coat Closet normally gives out 200-250 coats a year, but at a recent event earlier this month, it gave out 120 coats in one day. Coat inventory is low right now and needs to be restocked. This organization serves those in need in Wayne County, a rural community of about 9,000 people.

F&M Bank

West Point, Nebraska
The Franciscan Healthcare Pediatric Rehab team in West Point, Nebraska, is currently raising funds to update the city park playground equipment to be all inclusive and accommodate children of all abilities. F&M Bank will donate the #500forGood funds to the help purchase equipment so all children can play and socialize together in a safe environment.            
 

Security First Bank

Lincoln, Nebraska
Security First Bank will use the $500 to help pay power bills for families struggling to pay for electricity this winter. One less bill for a month is one less worry.
